Research on Modification of Fe3O4 Magnetic Nanoparticles with Two Silane Coupling Agents

چکیده
As a novel functional nanomaterial, Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) modified by different surfactants have attracted and are attracting worldwide interest. In this research, we introduced two silane coupling agents to modify MNPs instead of single surfactant achieve complete coating functionalization. The modification mechanism was also explained. Techniques such as TEM, XRD, FT-IR, TG-DSC, VSM were applied characterize the obtained sample. From these techniques, following information is obtained: characteristic bands TEOS KH-792 present in FT-IR spectra XPS plots MNPs, demonstrating that sample after modification. TG analysis showed decomposition at 228 °C. mass ratio before close 29:65. XRD patterns show possessed an identical reverse spinel crystal structure unmodified decreased saturation magnetization from 70.04 emu/g 57.41 did not change superparamagnetism MNPs.

A simple, robust and versatile hydrothermal synthesis route to in situ functionalized TiO2 nanoparticles was developed using titanium(IV) isopropoxide as Ti-precursor and selected silane coupling agents (3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES), 3-(2-aminoethylamino)propyldimethoxymethylsilane (AEAPS), and n-decyltriethoxysilane (DTES)). Spherical nanoparticles (ca. 9 nm) with narrow size distribut...
متن کاملHighly Efficient Arsenic Removal Using a Composite of Ultrafine Magnetite Nanoparticles Interlinked by Silane Coupling Agents
Arsenic (As) contamination in groundwater is a great environmental health concern and is often the result of contact between groundwater and arsenic-containing rocks or sediments and from variation of pH and redox potentials in the subsurface. In the past decade, magnetite nanoparticles (MNPs) have been shown to have high adsorption activity towards As. Alerted by the reported cytotoxicity of 5...
متن کاملEffects of Fe3O4 Magnetic Nanoparticles on A549 Cells
Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles (MgNPs-Fe3O4) are widely used in medical applications, including magnetic resonance imaging, drug delivery, and in hyperthermia. However, the same properties that aid their utility in the clinic may potentially induce toxicity. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the cytotoxicity and genotoxicity of MgNPs-Fe3O4 in A549 human lung epithelial cells...
